National Cyber Security Awareness Month Kicks Off on October 4 in Seattle
White House Cybersecurity Coordinator and Homeland Security Deputy Secretary to Keynote
The National Cyber Security Alliance, along with a host of public, private and non-profit organizations, will launch the 7th Annual National Cyber Security Awareness Month on Monday, October 4th in Seattle. The event will include the launch of the first-ever global public awareness campaign for online safety backed by a large constituency of public and private organizations.
Featured speakers include: Howard Schmidt, Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator; Jane Holl Lute, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; and Michael Kaiser, Executive Director of the National Cyber Security Alliance.
