MokaFive Exhibits at CAMP IT Desktop Virtualization Conference
Presentation to include methodology for architecting a desktop ecosystem featuring virtualization
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MokaFive™, known for its innovative virtual desktop-management solutions, announced today that it would be exhibiting at the CAMP IT Desktop Virtualization Conference on October 19—an annual convergence focused on helping businesses benefit from desktop-management strategies and practices that integrate virtualization technologies.
Additionally, the company will be delivering a presentation on how to plan and construct a virtual desktop ecosystem appropriate for various IT challenges. Included will be information on the various “flavors” of desktop virtualization and how to choose the right combination for specific environments. The company will also provide vendor-neutral insights into best practices gleaned from implementations across many organizations.
“Designing an IT infrastructure that involves desktop virtualization is a technological, as well as a business, decision,” said Purnima Padmanabhan, MokaFive’s VP of Marketing and Products. “Ultimately, it can significantly improve not only your cost structure, but also the user experience and productivity within your organization.”
The MokaFive presentation, called “Where to Start with Desktop Virtualization Project Planning: How to Design, Modify, and Implement” and conducted by Ms. Padmanabhan, will be held October 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Donald E. Stephen’s (Rosemont) Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. The agenda will include an overview of how to conduct a desktop-environment assessment, design desktop-management architecture appropriate to specific environments, manage a distributed environment with virtualization, and avoid common pitfalls with virtual desktop implementation.
