Evans' Expertise Reinforces Equilibrium as Leader in Over-The-Top Media Monetization and Dynamic In-Stream Advertising Services

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Equilibrium® (www.equilibrium.com), a software and hosted services company that specializes in helping enterprise clients of all sizes to manage, monetize and mobilize content, today announced the appointment of Mark Evans to the Equilibrium advisory board. This appointment rounds out Equilibrium’s board, currently comprised of broadly experienced executives that includes Stacey Foster of Saturday Night Live and Colin Crawford of Media7.

Mr. Evans has over 30 years' experience in advertising, marketing strategy, business development and advertising sales. For twelve years he was in various Director Positions in the Internet business running Programs, Operations, Planning, Business Development and National Ad sales for companies such as Netscape and eBay. He was initially hired by Google in 2007 to direct the planning and acquisition of Premium Display advertising. Currently, as Head of Marketplace Intelligence for Google AdSense, Mr. Evans is responsible for business relationships with key strategic media partners as they pertain to Google's entry into the display market. As such, he is active on multiple cross-functional strategic planning groups for Google display initiatives overall.
