Express, Inc. and Old National Bank will Discuss use of Integrated Log Management/SIEM Platform for Security and Operational Awareness

WHO:

Jason Luttrell is a security engineer for Express, Inc., where he led the design and implementation of an information security program from the ground up after the company was sold by LimitedBrands. Mr. Luttrell has direct expertise in financial, retail, and health care regulatory compliance mandates and programs including PCI-DSS, TR-39, VISA PCI PIN, and HIPAA. He has served as an IT security analyst for Huntington Bank, and has held information security positions with professional services firms and educational institutions. He is a graduate of Purdue University.

 

Jon Nicholson, CISSP, MCSE, & CRISC is an information security specialist with Old National Bank, where he focuses on security monitoring, management and remediation for the company’s business units. Mr. Nicholson is an adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech Community College, Evansville, Indiana and ITT Technical Institute, Newburgh, Indiana where he teaches information security and information technology courses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Southern Indiana and Master of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.

 
WHAT:

Mr. Luttrell and Mr. Nicholson will participate on the following two panels and will share their experiences, lessons learned, and best practices using the LogRhythm Log Management/SIEM platform for incident detection, security and operations monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

 

 

Log Analysis for Security and Operational Awareness

Security professionals will share their techniques and secrets for using log analysis tools to detect intrusions and extrusions in the enterprise. This panel session will cover managing resources, maintaining situational awareness, and balancing operational and security findings.

 

Security Visualization

Visualizing incidents and compromises can be great for gaining situational awareness. In this panel attendees will hear from the trenches about the latest trends in visualization, find out what works and why.
