(OTCQX: GGOX), a leading supplier of semiconductor and optical components that enable high-speed information streaming, announces that it has filed a Second Amended Complaint in the lawsuit it initiated in April 2011 against five former employees, Optomai, Inc., and M/A-COM Technology Solutions, Inc. The amended complaint asserts claims against the former employees for breach of loyalty and breach of employment-related contracts, and asserts claims against all defendants for violation of California’s Trade Secrets Protection Act. GigOptix seeks damages and injunctive relief. Although the defendants deny the claims, GigOptix intends to vigorously pursue the litigation to protect its intellectual property and proprietary information.
