Guillaume Nodet and Debbie Moynihan to discuss distributed OSGi applications in the cloud as well as the business of open source software

BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FuseSource Corp., experts in open source integration and messaging, today announced that representatives of the company would be presenting at ApacheCon 2011, the official conference of the Apache Software Foundation created to explore key issues in using and developing open source solutions "The Apache Way".

Provisioning distributed OSGi applications in a cloud

Guillaume Nodet, software fellow at FuseSource and committer to the Apache ServiceMix, ActiveMQ and Camel projects, will present on the limited number of tools available for the deployment and management of OSGi based applications. Nodet will go on to discuss how distributed OSGi-based applications can be provisioned and configured using the Apache Karaf and Apache ZooKeeper projects.
 

The Business of Open Source – Panel

Debbie Moynihan, vice president of marketing at FuseSource, will participate in a panel that explores the customer requirements, application opportunities, deployment challenges, best practices, product development, standards compliance and business model disruptors associated with open source. Sally Khudairi, chief executive of HALO Worldwide and vice president of Apache Software Foundation marketing and publicity, will moderate the panel which includes representatives from Adobe Systems, Hewlett-Packard, and Talend.

Nodet will present on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. PT
