LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Members of the Ethernet Alliance have joined together in a comprehensive, cutting-edge demonstration of Ethernet technologies in booth #1253. The demonstration highlights some of the newest Ethernet technologies available for deployment in data centers, campus backbones and metropolitan networks. Showcasing a live network, transporting 10G, 40G and 100G traffic, and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) traffic, the demonstration includes 200G of traffic flowing through each router and 420G of traffic flowing through the demonstration switch. Complete details of this demonstration can be found in an Ethernet Alliance white paper, “OFC/NFOEC 2011 Interoperability Demonstration,” located at: http://ethernetalliance.org/events/ofcnfoec. The following Ethernet Alliance members are participating in the Ethernet Alliance booth at OFC/NFOEC: ADVA Optical Networking, AppliedMicro, Amphenol, Cisco, CommScope, Ixia, Mellanox, NetApp, Opnext, Siemon, Spirent and Tyco Electronics.
