Digital Chocolate Issues ‘The Army Attack Challenge’
Army Attack achieves higher consumer review scores on Facebook than Zynga’s Empires & Allies; consumers challenged to play both games and decide for themselves
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Digital Chocolate, Inc. , a leader in cross-platform social games, today released the results of a straight comparison of user reviews between its newly launched war-themed social game Army Attack™, and the reviews for Zynga’s new title in the same genre Empires & Allies™.
Players of these and other Facebook games have the opportunity to rate the quality of the games they play, and Army Attack has garnered a ‘perfect score’ of 5 out of 5 stars, with over 50,000 players weighing in, vs. Empires & Allies score of 4.6 out of 5.
Other figures like number of users can be heavily influenced by relative marketing spending and cross-promotion scale.
“The players have spoken, and we have won the virtual ‘taste test’,” said Marc Metis, President of Digital Chocolate. “We invite others to decide for themselves, playing both games and choosing the best war game on Facebook.”
Army Attack launched publicly in Beta version in late May and has been one of the fastest growing games on Facebook.
