ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Dell KACE™ announced the availability of its new K-Series Advanced line of appliances specifically designed to address the unique needs of medium-sized businesses, offering enterprise capabilities at affordable “pay-as-you-grow” pricing. Aimed at fast growing organizations with 1,000 to 3,500 end-point systems, the K-Series Advanced offers the same award-winning systems management capabilities and ease-of-use that Dell KACE is known for, with a strong focus on the unique needs of the mid-market segment. The new line complements Dell KACE’s current portfolio of appliances for small business and enterprise appliances, catering to the unique needs of IT organizations of all sizes.

Traditionally, small and medium businesses (SMB) have been treated as a single, homogenous segment within the IT solutions market, but in reality medium-sized organizations have very different needs -- these organizations face the unique challenge of having to scale and expand quickly with limited budgets. Dell KACE’s Advanced Appliance solutions deliver a smooth, non-disruptive migration path for rapidly growing organizations, allowing companies to quickly expand, without the high cost, work stoppages or compromised quality of service that are common with traditional software only system upgrades.

“The SMB segment can sometimes be a bit of a misnomer because there are significant differences that small and medium-sized businesses face which can impact organizational growth,” said Lubos Parobek, vice president of product management, for Dell KACE. “Our new K-Series Advanced Appliance line enables medium business to accelerate their growth path without the need to upgrade systems or compromise the quality of systems management technology, enabling companies to effectively improve IT service levels and end-user productivity.”

The new K-Series Advanced Appliances include the K1100-ADV for systems management, and the K2100-ADV for systems deployment. The new line features quad-core Intel Xeon processors, RAID 5 configuration, high speed drivers and redundant power supplies.

In addition to the availability of the K-Series Advanced Appliance line, Dell KACE is also offering a new ProSupport* package which includes unified assistance from Dell’s maintenance and support team. ProSupport* allows KACE and Dell customers to quickly reach a support team at any time through a single contact number for all Dell products including desktops, servers, storage and now also Dell KACE Systems Management Appliances. With ProSupport*, IT administrators can quickly get to the bottom of Dell KACE tech issues and spend more time on strategic projects.

The Dell KACE family of systems management and deployment appliances fulfill the systems management needs for organizations of all sizes, from initial computer deployment to ongoing management and retirement. Dell KACE products are available as both physical and virtual appliances, directly from Dell or through its partners.
