Cutting-Edge Mobile Accounting Software Wins Box Mobile Dev Challenge

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Leading up to its first customer conference, BoxWorks, industry-leading, cloud computing vendor, Box, today announced that Bizmo has won the Box Mobile Dev Challenge. The international competition was judged by the Who’s Who of mobile technology experts, and Bizmo for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch blew past the competition placing first. Bizmo CEO, Brad Florin will travel to BoxWorks in San Francisco to receive the company’s $30,000 first prize and pitch leading venture capital firm, Draper Fisher Jurvetson at the conference.

The Box challenge invited developers to streamline the enterprise with mobile solutions using Box’s open APIs. Bizmo for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch answered the call. It’s the first mobile accounting app that uses easy-to-understand business terminology and a user-friendly interface to help on-the-go entrepreneurs manage their business. Bizmo’s integration with Box was designed to address the intersection of data and documents for small businesses.
