CSC Appoints Vice President — Global Contracts and Commercial Management

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CSC (NYSE: CSC), a leading global IT services company, today announced that Richard Sandler has been appointed vice president — Global Contracts and Commercial Management. In this role, Sandler will lead CSC’s contracts organization comprising contract professionals in CSC’s commercial and public sector businesses worldwide. He will report to CSC vice president and general counsel William L. Deckelman. Sandler was previously vice president — Managed Services Sector (MSS) Contracts and Commercial Management.

“Richard’s extensive expertise in contracting and commercial management and knowledge of CSC’s current and emerging operations and business position him well to lead in this important role,” said Deckelman. “His experience will be critical as CSC brings our emerging services and competitive advantage to our clients and successfully delivers on our growth objectives.”

Sandler has been with CSC for nearly 15 years and has led or been part of many global contract negotiations on behalf of CSC for both new and existing clients. He holds a B.A. in International Relations and Law from Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, South Africa.
