Zetta Announces Vice President of Marketing

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Zetta Inc, a provider of cloud-based backup and data protection services, announced today the appointment of Gary Sevounts as vice president of marketing. A 20-year high-tech industry veteran with proven success in the development and implementation of marketing strategy and programs for cloud technologies, Sevounts joined Zetta from Panda Security, the cloud-based endpoint solution provider, where his most recent position was vice president of marketing.

Before Panda Security, Sevounts held senior leadership roles in marketing and product management at Symantec, Hewlett-Packard and Quarterdeck. At Symantec, he was a co-founder and senior director of product management, marketing and business development for Symantec Health, a cloud-based archiving and sharing service for healthcare organizations.
