Bally Technologies and WMS Industries Settle Patent Litigation
LAS VEGAS & WAUKEGAN, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI) and WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS) announced today they have entered into a settlement and license agreement that will end their pending patent litigation. As part of the agreement, Bally will obtain a license to the WMS and Aruze Transmissive Reels® gaming technology portfolio under confidential terms.
