Another Record Quarter for adMarketplace
77% Growth for Search Syndication Platform Compared to 18% for Google’s Network
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Online advertisers looking for user-intent traffic beyond the major search engines are finding success with adMarketplace’s search syndication platform and propelling adMarketplace to record-breaking growth.
adMarketplace announced today that third quarter revenue grew 77% year over year, and 27% from the second quarter. The number of adMarketplace advertisers has risen 117% over the last year. And to keep pace with this demand, the company has doubled its head count, from 40 employees in October 2010 to 80 today.
While the search market is expanding, adMarketplace’s outsized growth is driven by increased market share. Google posted exceptional overall third quarter results, but the company’s network revenue only saw 18% growth. Yahoo, meanwhile, reported a 13% decrease in search revenue.
“We are pleased with our third quarter results, but we’re not satisfied,” CEO Jamie Hill said. “There is more work to be done so that we can deliver more value to more advertisers and publishers. This is no time to rest on our laurels, we’re just getting started.”
Other adMarketplace highlights from Q3:
- ADT Security Case Study. Mindshare (a division of WPP) reported that ADT’s cost-per-lead through adMarketplace was four times better than any other vendor.
- adMarketplace became the first search syndication network selected by digital marketing software providers Marin and Kenshoo for inclusion in their unified reporting dashboards.
“We’re delighted advertisers are finding success with a platform we’ve built from the ground up to serve the search syndication market,” COO Adam Epstein said. “If you’re going to beat the biggest, you have to build the best.”
