Latest addition to Fujitsu’s cash handling portfolio provides value-added features and capabilities not found in other bill recyclers in its class

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leading provider of IT-based business solutions, including cash handling, biometric security, and digital media solutions, today announced the Americas market launch of the Fujitsu G60 at BAI’s Retail Delivery Show. With the fastest performance and highest capacities in its class, the G60, is a game-changer when it comes to currency deposits, withdrawals and counterfeit detection in a small package. Designed for the OEM channel, the G60 is provided with CEN XFS service provider software so it can easily be integrated into a number of different applications and verticals like ATMs, Teller Assist Units, self-checkout, bill payment, drawer-less POS and backend settlement. As an example of its flexibility, the G60 will be integrated into an ATM and a teller assist unit in the Fujitsu Frontech North America booth, # 1419, at the BAI Retail Delivery Show, October 11-13, 2011, in Chicago, IL.

The Fujitsu G60, with up to 1,900 notes capacity, features 4 recycling cassettes, 1 deposit cassette and 1 optional loading cassette. The loading cassette increases up time and productivity by increasing capacities, start of day replenishment or providing an additional denomination when necessary. Available in front or rear access, the G60 supports mixed notes, new and used currency and paper-based and polymer notes within the same unit. Fujitsu’s bill validator technology supports provisional credit by capturing a complete image of both sides of deposited documents, thereby providing an audit process for questionable items. A true market differentiator, the bill validator also has the ability to read barcodes, symbol codes and accept, image, clear and return deposited checks.

In addition, to help complement the G60, Fujitsu offers the Asset Planning Tool™ (APT). The APT is an Excel-based tool that enables customers to enter their unique currency handling data and calculate replenishment benchmarks versus usage over time. It will also help you determine if recycling is the right solution for your unique cash handling environment or another solution like Fujitsu’s F53 bill dispenses is more cost effective.
