Alfresco & Ubuntu Raise the Bar on Cost-Effective Open Source Stack Performance

Following Canonical’s introduction of Ubuntu 10.04 as a Long Term Support version, Alfresco incorporated Quality Assurance (QA) testing on Ubuntu into the recent Alfresco Enterprise 3.3 release. The certified stack included testing against versions of MySQL, OpenOffice and OpenJDK, taken from both the Ubuntu Partner repository and Alfresco distributions.
