411 Publishing Unveils Free Production Resource App

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- 411 Publishing introduced the new LA 411 iPhone app, the first qualified production resource app for the Los Angeles area. This free, dedicated iPhone app provides the listing information found in the LA 411 production directory, and is available for download through the iTunes app store for Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and iTouch devices.

This high speed app provides a graphical representation of each of LA 411’s twelve production sections, such as Camera and Sound Equipment, Crew, Sets and Stages, and Location Services and Equipment. Utilizing Apple’s “multi-touch” technology, the user will be able to swiftly flip through pages and summon category listings with the touch of a finger. The app has also been programmed to fully utilize the viewing surface of the iPad screen.

To enhance the ease of finding and obtaining information, the user is able to call companies directly from their listings, activate GPS mapping directly to the listing locations, and save listings as Favorites. The app also provides immediate connectivity to the LA 411 Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as the 411 News and Updates page.
