Business networking takes off

Business networking sites are becoming a legitimate work tool. The most popular vendor, LinkedIn of Palo Alto, CA, has more than 9 million members and it says that much of its growth has occurred during the past year. Business networking is like social networking; in fact, it's often described as an online social networking site for business professionals. Companies pay from $10,000 to $250,000 per year to be able to contact all users directly and post job offers, but individual users can get basic accounts for free. The rise in business networking is changing the face of corporate recruiting by allowing potential employees to display information about themselves without risk.
