The DataTurf system features an encrypted VPN which can secure connections over potentially unsecured public hotspots and networks--it drives the network traffic back to the Internet over a fixed broadband connection. According to the vendor, it's a great, inexpensive solution for small to medium sized enterprises trying to open up more mobility options for employees without putting the corporate data network at risk.
