Indictments loom in HP scandal
California law enforcement officials say they've got the goods to move ahead with indictments in the HP spying scandal. HP acknowledged that it hired a firm to investigate where boardroom leaks were originating. It's alleged that the private investigation firm "pretexted"--posed fraudulently as journalists and board members--to gain access to confidential phone records. Just yesterday HP announced that chairwoman Patricia Dunn will step down in January due to the scandal.
