How to: Get organized with Remember the Milk

I generally consider myself a pretty high-tech guy but I have to admit, my primary method of remembering things is pretty analog: keeping post-it notes in my pockets. I don't think that necessarily means that I'm a backward person though--maybe I've just been waiting my whole life for an application like Remember the Milk [1]. On the surface, the web-based app seems pretty simple: it aims to provide a single, easily-accessible place for all of your to-do lists, be they work, school or personal in nature. For those who need it, however, there are a whole slew of Web 2.0 features including email, SMS and IM integration, tagging, keyboard shortcuts and support for offline access via Google Gears. Remember the Milk was recently voted the best web-based task manager by the obsessively-organized folks over at Lifehacker, so it's probably a safe bet for your to-doing needs. At the very least, it probably beats post-it notes.
