A top concern for CIOs today is the loss of intellectual property and the potential fallout from such an event. According to a new survey conducted by Harris Interactive, which polled more than 300 IT leaders and other tech staff, a clear majority--75 percent--are worried about the issue, and nearly 48 percent of those polled have put some tool in place to protect the data. Yet 30 percent haven't done anything to protect intellectual property, and 22 percent weren't sure. On the security front, the big headaches are system downtime thanks to viruses and Internet security breaches. According to Websense, this year will bring greater concerns with RSS feeds and securing zip files.
